Cubert offers easy access to the beaches of Crantock, Polly Joke and Holywell Bay which are all within walking distance.
This location is great for hikers and those wishing to take advantage of the great coastal footpaths.
The nearest beach is Holywell which is 1 mile down the road with a large car park.
In the village are 2 general stores, a gift shop and 2 good restaurants. We would suggest The Smugglers Den Inn, 16th century thatched Inn offering superb cuisine and a real cornish atmosphere.
The local shops sell a variety of locally grown produce.
Close by on the Perranporth sand dunes are the buried remains of the 6th century Oratory of St. Piran, which is one of the oldest edifices in the British Isles and has been consigned to the sands since 1980.
